My daughter is always in need of gymnastics leotards. We recently went shopping for several new gymnastics leotards. Anyone who has children knows that shopping with them makes for a longer day than just doing it oneself. This is for her, however, and I wanted to make sure that my money bought something she would really wear.
As her mother, I want her to feel confident when in the gym. If a leotard is ill-fitting, she will be unable to practice and perform to her best ability. A recent growth spurt already left her in this predicament. She was not doing her skills completely because she was worried about any embarrassing mishaps. She tried on about 20 leotards and found the 6 that best fit her body shape.
I also want her to feel like she is dazzling when she wears a leotard. A child who dazzles in practice will find it second nature to do the same in a competition. She loves leotards made of glittered metallic spandex. I love how a sparkly leotard brings out the best in her.
We were only planning on purchasing half of the 6 that best fit her body. After an hour in the shop, we decided to take all 6 of them home. Each one brought out a new excitement in her. I know that these new gymnastics leotards will be put to great use as she develops more and more confidence in her skills.
